All runners must bring the above items to the race. The actual kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day, depending on conditions etc., and clearly advised at Registration.

You should also have the means to carry all the kit in case required.

Failure to have the required items may lead to you being denied entry to the race, or disqualification. Random checks may be carried out.

Getting There:
NO PARKING AT THE GAP. PARKING INSTRUCTIONS BELOW This year’s race will start and finish at the GAP, Glencullen. Parking charges in effect for those without a full car: €4 for a single person car €3 for two people €2 for three people Free for a full car (4+) We will be using a Sum Up machine to take payment.
Organisers Instructions:
This year's route will start and finish at the old golf course fairway at the Gap before heading through the forest via the single track. From there you head for a loop over Tree Rock, coming down the boneshaker and back to the gap to finish on a fast downhill. Total distance is 9.1kms. Junior race will be a shorter 5k route on the trails adjacent to Ticknock. There will be marshals to show the juniors the way. TWO PORTALOOS will be provided on the day so please use these and not the fixed toilets behind the Gap Kitchen as they are for customers of the Gap.
Prizegiving Location:
The prizegiving and raffle will take place at the Gap Kitchen beside the finish line. We will also have some food from the cafe for those who would like to stay around.

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
